Building Children’s Chances (BCC) is a charity that is dedicated to supporting children and young people who have experienced or currently experience a form of childhood trauma, SEND or considered as having a SEND.
We are also a charity that provides support and guidance to; schools, alternative provisions, practitioners, parents and families. We aim to help develop skills and strategies that will enable a child to regain and promote their confidence, self esteem, employability skills, motivation to succeed and to celebrate their differences and experiences.
The aim of our support is to enable children and young people to have more opportunities to be successful with their life choices and be in a position where their trauma is not a reflection of the person they are. Which in turn will enable them to achieve positive changes and remain engaged with their families, learning and community, and achieve a successful transition into adulthood.
BCC (Building Children’s Chances) formed July 2022. C.I.O. - Charitable Incorporated Organisation.
